About

M/V Mermaid II is a 33-metre twin-engine steel liveaboard and one of Mermaid's most flexible Indonesia dive vessels. She accommodates up to 20 guests across eight main-deck deluxe cabins plus a lower-deck budget cabin, with panoramic sea-view windows in the deluxe cabins and a practical dive-boat layout for Komodo, Raja Ampat, Banda Sea, Alor, Lembeh, Halmahera, and extended transition routes.

   Day 1

   Sorong embarkation

   Board in Sorong. Evening passage toward the Dampier Strait.

   Day 2

   Cape Kri

   World fish-count record site. Three dives, schooling barracuda and fusiliers.

3. 3

   Day 3

   Arborek & Manta Sandy

   Village snorkel in the morning. Manta cleaning station in the afternoon.

   Day 4

   Blue Magic seamount

   Current dive with wobbegong sharks and walking fish.

5. 5

   Day 5

   Misool karst

   Cave and arch systems, pygmy seahorse, mushroom corals.

   Day 6

   Wayag

   Sunrise hike to the viewpoint. Kayaking through the karst lagoon.

   Day 7

   Return to Sorong

   Morning dive, farewell breakfast, disembark in Sorong.
